The event, which is taking place at 7pm tonight, is hosted by Murder by Midnight. Participants will be asked to solve the pharaoh’s curse and find the murderer.

Tickets cost £12 are available at Saltash library or the Guildhall. The money raised will go to charity. 1920s or ancient Egypt fancy dress theme is optional.

Until a few years ago, the building at the train station – which is now a waiting room – was an empty decaying shell. After it was left to crumble for decades, Saltash Town Council bought the building and decided to turn it into a modern waiting room, complete with a café, toilets and ticket office.
